Bethel Methodist Church

Bethel Methodist Church on the St. Paul’s Main Road in St. Paul’s St. George’s was built in 1899.

The church was badly damaged by Hurricane Ivan. The structure itself remained sound, but the church’s historic stained glass windows were smashed and the roof was torn off by the winds.

The community raised thousands of dollars to replace the roof. Photo from visit in May 2008.
